We’re Isuzu Commercial Truck of America—and for more than four decades, we’ve been helping businesses across the U.S. move, work, and grow with dependable commercial truck solutions. We’re not just a chassis supplier—we’re a trusted transportation partner delivering vehicles, support, and expertise nationwide.
A Legacy Built on Innovation
Our roots trace back to 1916 in Japan, when Tokyo Ishikawajima Shipbuilding & Engineering Co., Ltd. and Tokyo Gas and Electric Industrial Co. laid the groundwork for Japan’s first automobile production. Just three years later, in 1919, Japan’s first truck rolled out—sparking a legacy of engineering innovation that continues more than a century later.
Leading the Low Cab Forward Market
Since 1986, Isuzu has been the #1-selling low cab forward truck brand in America, delivering legendary reliability, efficiency, and versatility to fleets of every size. Isuzu Commercial Truck of America (ICTA) has operated in the U.S. since 1984 and is proudly headquartered in Anaheim, California. We are a subsidiary of Isuzu North America Corporation (INAC), with our global parent company, Isuzu Motors Limited (IML), founded on April 9, 1937, in Yokohama, Japan.
Nationwide Operations & Dealer Support
Together with Isuzu Commercial Truck of Canada (ICTC), we support a network of over 300 dealers across North America, ensuring customers receive expert service, parts availability, and ongoing support wherever business takes them.
In the United States, our N-Series Diesel chassis are imported through five major ports—Tacoma, San Diego, Jacksonville, Baltimore, and Newark. Our N-Series Gas, N-Series EV, and F-Series models are assembled in Charlotte, Michigan, then shipped directly to U.S. and Canadian dealers. In Canada, N-Series Diesel trucks are imported through British Columbia for distribution nationwide.
