NRR Advantages Over Nissan UD 2000:
- Can carry nearly 1000 lb. more payload because of lighter base chassis weight (5986 lb. for lightest NRR vs. 5935 lb. for UD 2000)
- Front stabilizer bar helps reduce body lean during cornering, which is especially valuable on high-CG loads (not available on Nissan UD 2000)
- Larger wheels allow room for larger brakes (19.5 in. x 6.0 in. vs. 17.5 in. x 6.0 in.)
- Larger tires are more commonly available 19.5-in. diameter, and contribute to extended tire life (225/70R19.5F vs. 215/75R17.5)
- Larger disc/drum brakes for longer service intervals and more powerful braking (14.3 in. disc and 14.6 in. drums vs. 12.6 in. drums)
- Durable tricot breathable woven passenger's seat material for comfort and durability (Cloth on driver and passenger seats on Nissan UD 2000)
