NQR Advantages Over Nissan UD 1800CS:
- Higher power (205 hp vs. 175 hp) and more torque helps haul heavy loads up hills (441 lb.-ft. @ 1850 rpm vs. 347 lb.-ft. @ 1600 rpm)
- Higher rear-axle capacity contributes to long-term durability (14,550 lb. vs. 14,330 lb.)
- Rear shock absorbers contribute to greater control and less damage to loads (not available on 1800CS)
- Larger wheels provide room for larger, more powerful brakes (19.5 in. x 6.0 in. vs. 17.5 in. x 6.0 in.)
- Larger tires are standard size for easy availability and replacement, and offer tire-life benefits (225/70R19.5F vs. 215/75R17.5)
- Large-diameter 14.2 in. front disc brakes for powerful stopping and longer service intervals (12.6 in. drum brakes front and rear on 1800CS)
- Full hydraulic brake system is simple and reliable. UD1800CS uses air-over-hydraulic drum brakes, requiring an air pump, air tanks and air dryer
- Optional engine oil pan heater contributes to cold-weather starting ease (not available on 1800CS. Only block heater)
- 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission vs. 4-speed provides wider range of gears for greater acceleration and higher fuel economy
- Higher frame yield strength contributes to long-term durability (44,000 psi vs. 42,600 psi)
- Longer base warranty (3 years/unlimited miles vs. 2 years unlimited miles) helps reduce ownership costs
