Sterling 360 and Mitsubishi Fuso FE180:

- FE180 is 17,995 lb. GVWR competing against NQR
- FE180 is the top end of the new design small LCF range from Mitsubishi Fuso. It shares the cab with the FE140 and FE145
- Cab interior has dash-mounted shifter, standard power windows and door locks
- Aisin 6-speed automatic available
NQR Advantages Over Sterling 360 and Mitsubishi Fuso FE180:
- Higher horsepower at lower rpm adds to performance (205 hp @ 2400 rpm vs. 175 hp @ 2700 rpm)
- Higher standard front GAWR contributes to long-term durability (6830 lb. vs. 6660 lb.)
- Higher standard rear GAWR contributes to long-term durability (12,980 lb. vs. 12,700 lb.)
- Larger wheels for ride quality and providing room for larger brake components. 19.5 in. tires are also a more readily available size than 17.5 in. tires (19.5 in. x 6.0 in. vs. 17.5 in. x 6.0 in.)
- Taperleaf front springs contribute to ride quality and durability (multileafs used on FE180)
- Air filter restriction gauge is standard on NQR, not available on FE180/Sterling 360
- Standard cruise control on NQR vs. no cruise control on FE180/Sterling 360
- Wider door opening eases entry and exit (85 degree vs. 70 degree)
- Durable tricot breathable woven seat material is comfortable and long lasting (cloth on FE180)
- Integrated automatic transmission cooler is well protected behind grille, while Mitsubishi Fuso has low-hanging transmission cooler exposed to damage
- Longer warranty on frame can help control service and repair costs (36 months/unlimited mileage with 100% coverage and 36 to 60 months/unlimited mileage with 50% coverage vs. 48 months/unlimited mileage)
- Easier serviceability of the air filter. Horizontal placement reduces likelihood of filter coming out of housing. FE/360 has vertical-mount that allows filter to drop from housing, if not secured
- Better front bumper protection, with bumper protruding 6.5 in. from cab vs. 3.1 in. for FE/360
- Isuzu powertrain warranty includes engines, transmissions, axles, driveshafts and universal joints. Mitsubishi Fuso powertrain warranty only includes engines and transmissions
- Longer, more comprehensive roadside assistance helps reduce downtime and contributes to service cost control (36 months/unlimited mileage vs. 24 months/unlimited mileage, towing only on FE180)
- Secondary leaf spring bump pads on rear suspension cushion ride on bad roads. Not available on FE/360
