- The FE145 Crew Cab has the same general layout and configuration as the N-Series Crew Cab
- FE145 Crew Cab is only available in one wheelbase
- Mitsubishi Fuso does not offer a Crew Cab version in the same GVWR rating as the NQR Crew Cab
NPR-HD Crew Cab Advantages Over Mitsubishi Fuso FE145:

- Higher maximum GCWR (19,500 lb. vs. 14,500 lb.)
- Two available wheelbases, instead of just one (150 in. and 176 in. vs. 164.2 in.)
- Both shorter and longer CA available (88.5 and 114.5 in. vs. 103.4 in.)
- Longer available wheelbase helps support long bodies (176.0 in. vs. 165.4 in.)
- Standard width 33.5-in. frame fits common bodies. Mitsubishi Fuso FE145 Crew Cab still has 29.6-in. wide frame rails
- Higher GVWR allows NQR to carry heavier payloads than FE145 (17,950 lb. vs. 14,500 lb.)
- Higher front axle capacity contributes to long-term durability (6830 lb. vs. 5510 lb.)
- Taperleaf front springs enhance ride and reduce weight, for greater payload. Not avaiable on Mitsubishi Fuso FE145
