Question:
Why can't I change rims to a more common size? Rims with same bolt pattern etc. There is literally no one that has the equipment to even mount these tires with the these rims. I've already checked for the same tires. I can get these, but tire garages can't work on them. And the tires are extremely expensive! What about recaps? I checked on getting them recapped, but the casing are dry rotted! HELP!

Answer:
In order to change to a current wheel and tire setup you would need to get the parts from a Isuzu dealer. If the dealer pulls the parts for a standard NPR for the same year he can compare the rear axle parts, hubs front and rear, brakes front and rear including master cylinder, wheel and tires if these parts are changed out it should be possible but expensive. It might be better to invest in a new vehicle with new warranty.
