I see that my vehicle is equipped with the new Aisin 6sp automatic transmission, are there any changes to the maintenance for this transmission? |
Answer:
The new Aisin 6sp automatic transmission uses a new transmission fluid, SCS or "slip control system fluid", which is available through your local Isuzu and GM parts departments. Additionally, conventional "Dextron" based transmission fluid should never be used with this transmission as internal damage will occur.
