Great pride is involved in the quality machining integrated into every engine in the 6H product line. This fine craftsmanship can be best seen in the precision machined fit sleeve of the engine. The cylinder block and sleeve (liner) have been precisely machined using the care and machining expertise. In service and maintenance of the dry liners, installation and replacement is very easy. Even after 100,000 miles of operation, the dry liners can be easily removed and replaced. The care taken in precisely machining the cylinder sleeves provides overall cost savings over the engine life cycle.

In summary, the Isuzu 6H cylinder block structure is the same as a parent bore, with the precision-machined liners installed later, providing all the advantages of both parent bore and sleeved liners.
