What we needed:
A truck with a 33,000-lb. GVWR and good maneuverability.
What we bought:
An Isuzu FVR. We relocated the truck's battery to the driver's side frame rail and the fuel tank to the passenger's side frame rail just in front of the rear wheels. This was done to make way for some vacuum pumps and drain valves. The truck has reinforced frame rails to handle a 2,620-gallon industrial vacuum tank, which is set up to dump.
Why we chose Isuzu Trucks:
"The truck is used in hilly areas on narrow, winding roads, so it needed a tight turning radius to move around in this environment. The FVR is the best truck we have ever owned, offering good power under load and great maneuverability."
